Resistance Records

Resistance Records is a white supremacist record label that was founded in Ontario, Canada in 1993. Luckily in 1997, Resistance Records stopped distributing hate speech in Canada because it violated their hate-speech laws. Unfortunately they have relocated themselves in West Virginia. Resistance Records has expanded to multiple sub-records, newspapers, merchandise, and have developed a variety of white supremacist video games that are available for purchase.
Resistance Records is a hateful establishment that's only purpose is the spread of racist ideals. Their most known and most controversial members are a singing group of two twin girls called Prussian Blue. These twin angelic looking girls put out their first white supremacist record when they were 10 years old. Since then, Resistance Records have used the sexual appeal of these very young girls to distribute hateful music across the country and the world.
My goal with this blog is to spread awareness regarding this hateful record label and hopefully inspiring updated legislation in the United States regarding hate-speech.
Comments and opinions are more than welcome

Hate speech is very negative for society and for the individual. No one should encourage it. But also, speech of all kinds is protected in our society by law and by tradition -- unless it is intended to incite immediate violence. The advocates of Prussian Blue may be morons but they are within their rights to express their views. Husker Greg.

If these girls' managers/handlers are fortunate enough live in a country with free speech, I agree with Husker greg's comments - to a point. Using children to promote hate and violence offends all our sensibilities and our sense of right and wrong. The children's managers/parents?? may be morons, but they are inflicting harm on impressionable children.

I agree with Husker Greg that these people are within their rights but it is important for people to speak out against these racist views as well. Blogs such as these as well as other media outlets must counter act their racist view with a message of peace and equality. Unfortunatly, the record label has more of a voice in this instance but people must join together and excerise their rights to combat these people who are filled with hate. Perhaps more media coverage, boycotts, rallies etc would create enough attention that people would see the tragedy in this music. AC

I agree with the comments above. But it seems to me that if Canada can promote freedom of speech, yet force organizations like Resistance Records to relocate, there's no reason why the United States can to do it too.

I do not agree with the views of white supremacists and their organizations. However I think it is important to allow freedom of views, opinions and speech. If we are too limit these individuals, then should we prohibit any Islamic group that may speak out about the United States? What about speaking out about the Government? I am happy to live in a society where I maybe hated or not even safe, but I am free at all times to make my own destiny, speak my mind and create my own views. What I feel needs to happen is for people to stand up against this music. On our own as free individuals. One way is by ignoring their music entirely, and thus keeping it hidden from those who do not know it already exists.
